Origin

In the beginning there was a point.

...And the beginning was but a period in which time was noted by a wisp of this existence

that was in the aether of light

                              in which the point existed

– without form, coordinates, or dimension,

            this point just was.

And then an instability formed and dimension came into the point, that was transformed into an origin.

   From the origin, grew a disk;

like the thinnest atom of clay,

                        this ephemeral disk formed

                               in the aether of light

from the origin.

This is called the great expansion.

For from the nothingness of an instability,

a disk grew such that after some distance,

the edges started to slightly bow.

At first it seemed as if the disk bowed from both over and under, but then it had forms that curved inwards with bows of three, then four, then five and so on. For every step from the origin, the circumference of the disk doubled.

Its coral-like being was manifesting curves within curves.

Every atom of the disk had an unexplainable cohesion that attracted everything that touched it and held itself together with the strongest of force.

Because existence was submersed in an aether of light, there was no shadow or night, for aether is between the in-between.

  And so,

time is measured in the expansion of the disk from the origin. For if it was measured at the edge, time would seem to exponentially accelerate.

A unit of expansion is but a day

without

a

night.

And so, at a moment that was no longer the beginning,

             from the origin,

connected to a wisp of existence,

and linked to an unknowable instability,

flowed water that formed an ocean

                       at the center

that then became rivers on the curves of the ever-expanding disk.

The water contained splendid impurities that settled and pooled and changed the surface of the disk to have banks along the rivers and finite, yet infinite shores along the ocean.

And then in but a fraction of a unit of expansion

as if a breath from the aether blew through the oceans –

a ring of green algae formed from and then

around the origin

and in a pulse of unconstrained energy

moved through the disk sowing microcosms of life throughout every bank, pool, and hill that had formed.

From these microcosms burst forth habitats that ebbed and flowed as their boundaries intersected and created unions of life. It was from one of these unions, you were born.

Awareness

Memory is such a chaotic manifold

  – a dynamic system leading you from one moment to another

        with little or no connection.

But when all together in a consciousness becomes the structure that is

           a resemblance of

  a

      strange

              attractor.

Your beginning is but a period in which you have become aware of existing. You are of the unions of microcosms and an ever-evolving existence in which traveling

      to

         the

shores of the origin

        are trivial,

traveling perpendicular to this path is unfathomable

(at some of the layered marks of the units of expansion.)

Your awareness of existence, your beginning, is an ever changing point of reference due to

    your memory

            and

                your delta of self.

For did you really exist as you, prior to your current beginning?

You move through your reality with a compass that favors inward

            and outward,

and leaves the radial stagnation

                  (or a trace of orbit)

for times when your beginning is about to change – an angular translation of self.

–might this continue?
